Milestones

June 13th marked the last day of my first year of teaching. The end of the school year can either be stressful or enjoyable depending on how you look at it. I felt the last two weeks were full of fun; events that are looked forward to and talked about all year long, where memories are made. We all just enjoyed each other while doing the work that facinates and intrigues us. Teaching is a profession where we are given the opportunity to build students into the people they are ment to be. We get to discover what each child is passionate about and try the best we can to nuture their growth. Basically we get to love on kids all day long. These pictures are only snapshots of events and kids who have story after story to tell and many still to be told. I pray for each and every one of them to find their niche in life!!!

The 4th grade classes had a reading project called Genre Pie. If they read 4 books from different genres and passed the tests for each they were given the opportunity to pie a teacher of their choice. It was so fun!!
